  Yea, now that I look back, I'm realizing how bad they really are. They teach members to show no compassion. That's why they are conditioned to shun close family members like children and parents. They are void of any human pity and compassion.

  (Leviticus 5:1) . . .“‘Now in case a soul sins in that he has heard public cursing and he is a witness or he has seen it or has come to know of it, if he does not report it, then he must answer for his error.

  Instructor said; "So as elders you have come to know of a brother who sinned and covered it up. Even if it is just touching a woman's breast, it is still unclean and Jehovah is Holy. It disgusts him. If you let this man back into the congregation and he stumbles another member, whose fault is it

  It is you elders who are at fault.

  The brother covered up his sin like SATAN does, and you allowed him to come back into the congregation. And the Bible makes it very clear that soul should be for soul when a person’s life is lost.

  And if someone is stumbled by this brother who covers up a sin, and leaves the congregation and is destroyed in Armageddon, then it is only right for Jehovah to take your soul or the soul of one of your family members like your wife, you little girl, or your little boy.

  It’s only right. It satisfies the scales of justice". Then he showed us this scripture;

  Deuteronomy 19:21 Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

  Instructor said; "So although there are no rules on when to show mercy to someone who covered up his sin, keep in mind that your life and the life of your family is at stake.

  If you disfellowship that brother, then you can be sure you and your family are safe. But if you let him in, then you are playing Russian roulette with your family’s lives"

  The Governing Body covered up over 1000 cases of child sexual abuse, shouldn’t they be disfellowshipped?

  around the 39:00 minute mark the focus shifts to a single sister who cannot find a mate.

  at the 42:30 minute mark she states "i cannot believe it crossed my mind...to look on jw dating sites".

  guess a new unwritten rule is added to the many oral traditions of these pharisees.

  How many JW single sisters would listen to the GB about not dating online if some person on a jw dating site looks like this. and wants to meet one of those single sisters for a nice dinner? Especially a sister who hasn't touched a man in years.

  my fleshy sister is seriously getting to my nerves.

  she's my only (and younger) sister, and as you know, is married to an uber-circuit overseer.

  now I have a group of zealous sisters from the congregation suddenly all over me, like a swarm of bees, pressuring to make arrangements to go out with me in the field service, even calling me on the phone past 10 pm!

  

  Smoke them! Disconnect the phone after a certain time or get caller ID and don't answer. Don't tell your sister anything of what's going on in your life. Make arrangement for service and cancel. They will tire out sooner or later.

  Could "this generation" inspire a new "1975 debacle"?

  i think that it's possible that they're getting ready to issue a new end time date insinuation like they did with 1975. now i know what some of you are probably thinking: why would they be so stupid as to repeat such a mistake, knowing what happened in 1975?

  well here're two reasons why i think they could do it:.

  with the recent 'money grab' of the watchtower society, this clip re: the mormon church seems timely.. .

  '...if you were to attend a conference in the early days of the lds church, you could expect to come away with at least two things that we don't get now.

  first, the leadership would provide a complete report of the churchs financial holdings, detailing the amount of tithing funds collected and a thorough accounting as to how those funds were being spent.

  ok so in 1kings chapters 5-6 is where we have the story of the construction of solomon's most holy temple to god, the supreme god.

  it says that to build this magnificent temple they used 30,000 men, 10,000 per month.

  another 70,000 common laborers in the hills digging up stone and 80,000 stone cutting laborers.
